🧠 Digital Safety Trainee
Learn. Understand. Protect.
Want to become digitally fluent and help others stay safe online—but don’t know where to start? The Frontlines Trainee Program is for you.
As a Digital Safety Trainee, you’ll receive guided learning modules and curated resources on online privacy, scam detection, AI-powered misinformation, and more. This is a self-paced, foundational program designed for students who are passionate about digital safety but not yet ready to give public presentations.
Perfect for: students interested in cybersecurity, community impact, or technology who are just getting started.
Commitment: ~1–2 hours/week, flexible

🎤 Digital Safety Volunteer
Educate your community. Empower others.
Volunteers are the frontlines of Frontlines. After completing a short orientation and digital safety training, you'll be equipped to lead presentations in your own community, like at schools, libraries, senior centers, or local events.
As a volunteer, you’ll:
Present our digital safety workshop (with full scripts + materials provided)
Work with our team to adapt presentations for your local audience
Join a growing network of youth advocates making a real-world impact
Commitment: 3–4 hours/month

🧠 Research Fellows Institute
Research. Write Policy. Lead Change.
The Frontlines Research Fellows Institute is a selective, remote summer fellowship for high school and college students passionate about digital safety, AI ethics, and public policy. Fellows conduct original research and write policy briefs that are distributed to U.S. legislators, educators, and civic organizations.
This is not just academic, as top-performing fellows will be invited to join the Frontlines Board of Directors, gaining the opportunity to help shape national initiatives and represent the organization at events like the United Nations ECOSOC Youth Forum.
